HOW TO FIND US

You will find the Motoring Heritage Centre in Alexandria, 25 miles from Glasgow and 2 miles from Loch Lomond. An easy drive from Glasgow or from the North, East or West of Scotland, or a short walk from Alexandria railway station.

Less than 35 minutes from Glasgow and 45 minutes from Stirling, Alexandria is on route north to the Western Isles and the Highlands of Scotland. Loch Lomond Outlets and the Motoring Heritage Centre are ideally situated for your first stop north or your final shopping before heading home. Whichever way, you will not be disappointed.

DIRECTIONS

The Motoring Heritage Centre is located in the Loch Lomond Factory Outlets and is open 7 days a week from 09:30 to 17:30, except Christmas day and 1st January.

Only 18 miles north west of Glasgow.

Follow the A82 to the roundabout, (rotary) where you turn on to the A811. Follow the signs to Balloch and Alexandria. Continue on the A811 for 200 metres to the Balloch roundabout take third exit (right). Follow signposts for Loch Lomond Factory Outlets.
Access and free parking is from the main road.

The Museum is run by volunteers and supports various local bodies including the Dunbartonshire Festival, Loch Lomond Enterprise and the Community Service Scheme.
